Message I see you have already reached a decision on this but I'll add my $.02.
I dissatisfied customer can cause enough problems to cost you more than you can imagine. You might be better off to reach an agreeable solution. Possibly a replacement if the buyer pays for return shipping and the new item shipping cost.
Just a thought, good luck in reaching a resolution.
